ABOUT

I moved to Bend in 2006 to begin my professional career in real estate development. After weathering the great recession, I remained in the real estate industry and have been involved in representing buyers & sellers all throughout Central Oregon, and have become well networked with the area's major developers, investors, etc. I formed a real estate team in 2014 that my business partner and I have grown into one of the most successful real estate teams in the area. We branched out and opened up our own office 3.5 years ago, 2.5 of those years spent in our building on Franklin downtown. From nights at JC's to Christmas shopping for family, I have countless memories of downtown Bend and believe it's important to maintain the cleanliness, pedestrian-friendly & slightly upscale feel of downtown to continue to add to the vibrancy & appeal of Bend's social & shopping scene, and just the overall "vibe" of Bend. I have three young daughters and enjoy mountain biking, skiing, trail running, playing guitar and fishing :)

WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST ASSETS?

1) The Deschutes River (Mirror Pond/Drake Park), 2) Great variety of boutique shops & restaurants 3) easily walkable. Ryan also does an amazing job with the twinkling lights at night, flowers, and keeping it clean & looking good!

WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST OPPORTUNITIES?

Higher density, increasing exposure for upstairs tenants, efficient parking program, more informational kiosks/plaques for tourists.

WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST CHALLENGES?

Parking, retail turnover, ability to grow & promote business outside the boundaries of Bond & Wall.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ON THE DBBA BOARD OF DIRECTORS?

I enjoy giving back to the community that's given me so much over the years and have a desire to maintain the appeal of downtown Bend.
