ABOUT
As a long term resident of Bend I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve as an interim board member and the chair of the design committee. Combining my service as the chair of the Design committee along with a board member position, I feel I will be able maximize my ability to connect with business owners, tenants, and community members to learn what attracts them to downtown, and what makes them come back Having been directly involved with the undertaking of the beautification and maintenance of downtown has been one of the highlights of my career. I’m excited to continue developing the Downtown Bend Beautification Master Plan, including the current flower planter replacement plan. Being an architect, especially one that specializes in historic preservation and adaptive reuse, I look forward to offering support and guidance to property owners to maximize their investments. I’d also like to help educate them on best practices for maintenance along with financial resources, such as Main Street. I love our downtown and want to ensure it’s accessible, inviting, and enjoyable for all of Bend and our visitors today, tomorrow, and for future generations to come.
