ABOUT
I am an avid outdoorsman and the best part of my job is the community engagement and feel privileged to have the opportunity in my role to support and sponsor some really great organizations in Bend.
WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST ASSETS?
The people, the small businesses and the sense of community.
WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST OPPORTUNITIES?
Winning back business and reputation. Deepening collaboration for the benefit of the community while still being able to maintain competition. More awareness of community events.
WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST CHALLENGES?
Parking and reputation certainly. I so often hear from clients that say they haven't been to my branch and years and try to avoid downtown as much as they can because it's a hassle and there are so many different and new recreational areas in town that are more convenient. Another challenge would be lack of marketing. Maybe I am just not looking in the right places but It doesn't seem that marketing expands much more than downtown itself when it comes to community events and or business events.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ON THE DBBA BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
I have great relationships within downtown being the branch manager for U.S. Bank and rely so much on those relationships that I would love the opportunity to give back and support our neighbors.
