Downtown Bend Oktoberfest is coming this September, and we’re inviting downtown businesses to be part of the celebration!
The event will encourage locals and visitors to explore downtown, moving from business to business for local beer, cider and kombucha, Oktoberfest-inspired food, activities, shopping specials and more. Guests will purchase an official Downtown Bend Oktoberfest mug and use the event map to discover participating businesses and everything happening throughout downtown.
The more businesses that participate, the more fun the event becomes — and there are lots of ways to get involved.
How Can My Business Participate?
Host a Brewery, Cidery or Kombucha Maker
Bring the tasting experience into your business by partnering with a participating local brewery or beverage maker. Don't already have a partner? Let us know when you sign up and DBBA can help coordinate potential matches.
Create an Oktoberfest Food or Drink Special
Restaurants, bars, coffee shops and other food businesses can create a special menu item just for the event. Think bratwurst, pretzels, German-inspired dishes, seasonal drinks, desserts or your own creative take on Oktoberfest.
Offer a Shopping Special
Retailers can join the fun with an Oktoberfest promotion, discount, giveaway, gift with purchase or event-day special.
Host an Activity
Give guests another reason to stop! Create a game, contest, tasting, photo opportunity, live experience or other activity inside or outside your business.
Come Up With Your Own Idea
Have something else in mind? Great. Oktoberfest is meant to activate all of downtown, and we want businesses to participate in ways that make sense for them.
You do not need to serve alcohol to participate.

Oktoberfest is designed to bring people downtown and give them a reason to explore beyond a single destination.
Participating businesses will be included in event promotion and the official Oktoberfest map, helping attendees discover what your business has to offer.

Presale: $5 (Online beginning Sept 1st)
Event Day: $7
The DBBA will have a booth downtown where people can purchase mugs day of.
