I'm a licensed Architect and urban planner, licensed General Contractor, entrepreneur, and downtown Bend business owner, having founded and run numerous companies, including Outdoor Project (digital media), Life Architecture & Planning (architecture), Life Design Build (construction), and The Green House (co-working space). I'm a graduate of Mountain View High School, earned my architecture degree in 2005 from the University of Oregon's school of Architecture & Urban Planning, lived in Portland for 20 years thereafter, and returned to Bend in 2021

1) Duration of usage - more hours of the day

2) Residential infill/Increased housing,

3) Increased density/Floor-Area-Ratio w/ associated additional parking

WHAT ARE DOWNTOWN’S THREE GREATEST CHALLENGES?

Looking forward to learning more from past board members.

1) Lack of mid-week day-time use

2) No recycling/presentation of values

3) Connectivity w/ adjacent districts"

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ON THE DBBA BOARD OF DIRECTORS?

1) I love Bend

2) I want to see downtown Bend continue to thrive, and pursue and maximize opportunities to be one of the best small city downtowns, and be an example for other city's to follow

3) I believe my background as an entrepreneur, architect, builder and urban planning can be a great asset to the DBBA Board of Directors.
