Welcome to the Downtown Bend Newsletter!

This week in Downtown Bend was exciting as holiday decorations began to go up and store windows began to look a lot like they had been visited by Father Christmas.

We'd like to invite you to check out Ferm and Fare - a new boutique wine shop on Brooks Promenade in Downtown Bend. Ferm and Fare is a wine shop, tasting room, and education center with a commitment to responsibly farmed wines. With 'Wine Class Wednesday' and 'Blind Flight Thursday' there is lots of fun to be had at Ferm and Fare in Downtown Bend.

We also want to make sure you don't miss Bonta Gelato Shop's vegan Sweet Potato Pie gelato. This flavor is perfect for your dairy-free, vegan and all-around gelato-loving selves! It's available in the scoop shop on Minnesota in Downtown Bend and by the pint in both of their locations.

Finally, we're excited to announce that the McMenamins Whiskey Club launches today. Membership provides exclusive whiskey club releases of McMenamin's whiskeys and bottles, access to the Whiskey in the Shed members-only menu, Whiskey club welcome kit, discounts on merchandise and more. Great Harvest Bread is hosting a coloring contest! When people bring their colored page to the bakery they will get a free shortbread cookie. All of the coloring entries will be hung up in the bakery.

It's open to all ages, winners will receive 2 free loaves of bread and a goody sampler box (worth $50). All entries must be received by Tuesday, Nov 24th...winner will be chosen wed Nov 25th. More info here.
