Describe what you feel that you could contribute to the DBBA board:
I feel I could bring some fun ideas and the look of a business owner as well as a building owner to the board. I have worked in different stores in Bend and Redmond from locally owned to corporate and feel it has given me a rounded look at what both sides look like.

Describe what you feel Downtown Bend's role is in our City/Community:
I feel that downtown Bend’s role has changed over the years from being a mill town to where downtown was ruff and not many women were seen walking the streets to a flourish area where people gather to shop and eat and enjoy the little town feel. Downtown Bend is one of the few towns with a clean quaint downtown shopping area that is full of local shops. It is something that makes us stand out as a town.

Describe 1-2 of the elements of your vision for the future of Downtown Bend:
One element that I see in downtown Bend is to keep the vibe alive of being full of locally owned shops. It makes a huge difference of the feel and how you are treated as a customer. A second element is to bring more locals downtown. I know from owning my own shop we only have locals that come on certain days and I feel it would be beneficial for the shop and restaurant if we can make downtown more of a common area for locals and tourists to gather.
