Bend Comedy Presents: Marc Yaffee & Jim Fleming at The Capitol
Bend Comedy Presents:
- MARC YAFFEE -
Marc Yaffee’s diverse comedy career has landed him in 43 states and 11 countries. He’s performed on a flat-bed truck for U.S. Marines in Iraq (while getting his head shaved) and entertained Alaska Airlines passengers at 30,000 feet. From clubs and casino to Las Vegas and the World Eskimo Indian Olympics in Alaska, Marc’s résumé is a testament to his talent and adaptability. With appearances on PBS, FNX Network’s, First Nations Comedy Experience and the historic Showtime special, Goin’ Native', Marc continues to expand his comedy footprint. His recent special "Marc My Words" is a mainstay on NativeFlix.com and his new Dry Bar Comedy Special will air in 2019.
- JIM FLEMING -
Jim Fleming is originally from Reno but first started performing comedy while on a six and a half year furlough to the east coast
pursuing a career in the biotech industry. He has performed
in many of Boston and New York City's finest bars, Chinese
restaurants, and finished basements, and as such developed the thick skin possessed only by cocktail waitresses and door-to-door salesmen. He recently graduated from UNR with a master's in economics and has performed at Reno area clubs many, many times.

Junk Parlor at The Capitol
Junk Parlor at The Capitol
Sunday, March 31st at 6pm
$5 cover all ages
"Junk Parlor invites its audiences on a sonic adventure down a joyful, raucous path, conjuring up a
fantastically-edgy and intoxicating dreamscape. The band’s signature sound is spattered with traditional
Eastern-European songs, Manouche rhythms, Bohemian janglings and exotic vintage belly dance melodies. Modern
musical stylings are also interwoven, with 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll and Punk influences on display in the band's own heady,
moody and haunting self-penned tunes."
