Angelina Swanson is the founder and CEO of aos Skincare, the brain-meets-beauty child of her desire to create a healing relationship between plants and people. She calls it “full circle beauty.” By consciously sourcing the most bio-available organic, wild-crafted, fair-trade ingredients in her luxurious formulas, Angelina promotes health and beauty in the people who use her products, and in the places where the ingredients are harvested. Every aos product has its own origin story, beginning with a client and their desire to improve their skin. Never one to chase ingredient fads, Angelina stays focused on real results, stoking her fierce devotion to discovering complementary blends of potent plant actives that increase our skin’s—and our planet’s—vitality. In addition to her passion for building aos for more than twenty years, Angelina loves living in Central Oregon. She shares her love of wandering deep in the mountains with her husband, Andy and they are frequently "disappearing" into them to unplug and replenish their souls.

Hey there! My name is Sarah, and I'm a proud co-owner of The Looney Bean Coffee House where we serve up smiles, good times, and our own locally roasted coffee 364 days a year. I'm stoked to keep the masses caffeinated on their daily journey, and take pleasure in knowing that our little historic coffee house near the Deschutes River has become a "home away from home" for people of all walks of life. We truly believe that a good cup of coffee brings people together. I take pride in our signature Looney Beans drinks, such as my personal favorite, the Killer Bee: a honey, cinnamon, and cayenne latte.
I have been co-owner of The Looney Bean for over five years, and bring a lot of customer service experience to the table from a smattering of jobs while living in Michigan, Colorado, Vermont, as well as Oregon. Having a diverse background has allowed me to understand the various needs that a small business requires to operate smoothly, and I enjoy being a part of the "seed to cup" process of coffee. It's a pleasure to operate a small business in Bend, where I am fortunate to be able to get outside and enjoy some of my favorite hobbies like trail running, skiing, mountain biking, camping, and rafting before or after heading in to work. I'm extremely grateful for both the local Bendites and tourists that keep us thriving, and look forward to many more happy years to come being a part of your Looney Bean family. Cheers!
Wren and Wild recently opened their doors downtown with 50+ clean beauty skincare and makeup brands. Owner and Founder Mandy Butera knows what you put on your body matters. After a career in the conventional cosmetic business of 25 years she began researching products and their ingredients in 2012 and realized it was not good. This began an idea to create a safe place for people to shop without the worry. At Wren and Wild we take pride in carrying clean beauty brands that disclose 100% of their ingredients and are cruelty free. Mandy is also a national makeup artist working with film productions, print, special occasions and weddings.
My name is Corrine O'Shea.
I moved to Bend in 2003 from San Juan Island, Washington. I started Salud Raw Food in 2013 because I saw a need for healthy restaurants in our community that uses organic ingredients, is gluten free and has the upmost integrity when it comes to the food we prepare! A safe haven for people with allergies and food restrictions!
My cafe offers breakfast, lunch, desserts, juices and smoothies. All organic, gluten free, soy free and live, with all their beneficial enzymes intact!
I love serving Downtown Bend the healthiest food for the past 5 and a half years! Thank you!
Let me introduce myself; I am Cori, the owner, bartender, food prep-er, plant water-er & toilet flusher fixer at Velvet Lounge. Growing up in Bend made me love the outdoors & they are a priority in my life. That's what drew me to working nights, days off to enjoy the outdoors, are super important to me. After working in the restaurant industry for 25+ years, it was a goal of mine to own my own spot, in my hometown.
After managing Velvet for a few years I had the opportunity to purchase it....& here we are almost 10 years later. My love of the outdoors translates into the bar. From the reclaimed barn wood from Maupin, Oregon to the vintage camping decor, to the nature & snow sports playing on our flat screens, you can see I've tried to bring the outside, in.
