Wild Rose Thai is located in the heart of Downtown Bend, Oregon and is a local favorite. Traditionally a very rural cuisine, Northern Thai food is an experience for all five senses. The folks at Wild Rose Thai never frown on using your hands as utensils – just don’t expect chopsticks when you visit them.
The most significant difference with Northern Thai fair is that nearly every meal is accompanied with ‘khao niew’, sticky Jasmine rice meant for eating with your hands. Best enjoyed when formed into small croquettes, the sticky rice is dipped in the fresh chili pastes and sauces that are most prominent in Chiang Mai and its surrounding areas. Fresh and crunchy vegetables are served with every sauce, dip, and paste. That means no Pad Thai here either.
The Wild Rose Thai menu is not divided into courses, but rather into separate categories that make up a complete traditional Northern Thai meal. Dishes are prepared for sharing, and we encourage mixing & matching menu items. A Northern Thai meal is a communal event – the more you share, the tastier your dishes are. Chiang Mai is near and dear to Wild Rose Thai hearts, which means every dish crafted at the Wild Rose comes from a family recipe.

It was another beautiful week in Bend, Oregon and a terrific week in Downtown Bend. Our on-the-street crews did a bit of extra deep cleaning, continued to keep snow and ice removed from Downtown walkways and began documents some much-needed repairs in the district. We'll be working with the City of Bend and building owners to get these items fixed this spring.
We also applied for the PPP loan and the Travel Oregon grant. Any and all opportunities that we have to infuse money into Downtown Bend is a top priority to us. Fingers crossed that we'll be awarded both, and it will allow us to do more promotion & beautification of our beloved district.
We worked with the Bend Chamber and Chamber Advisory Board going new legislature , and learning where we can lend our support to help our small business community. We also continued to work with the Downtown Bend Parking Advisory Committee on fixing up the garage and preparing to roll out a merchant validation program.
Finally, we held over a dozen interview looking for the best candidate for our new Sales and Marketing position. We'll be excited to announce our candidate later this month!

Its mission is to incorporate fine art and contemporary craft, in one location, and to create an environment exclusive to regional artists for the enjoyment of the local population and the out of town visitors. The diversity of the art mediums is key to realizing the gallery’s mission.
Since 2010, the Red Chair gallery has been located in the historic O’Kane Building in Downtown Bend on the corner of Oregon Avenue and Bond Street. The vibrancy and diversity of Downtown Bend has something for everyone.
