The Downtown Dollars Program in Downtown Bend | Info for Merchants
The Downtown Dollars program is a gift certificate/gift card program that works ONLY at business in the Downtown Bend Economic Improvement District (map here). Businesses have to sign up to participate, and when they sign up the are listed with a "DD" next to their name on the directory, and included in Downtown Dollars marketing materials. We sell $80,000 - $90,000 in certificates every year. If you're business isn't accepting these - you're missing out on valuable business!

Accepting digital Downtown Dollars at your business is easy and it doesn't cost you a dime (standard credit card fees apply)!
Here is how to participate 1. Sign up to participate (button below) 2. Train your employees how to key in a Downtown Dollars eGift Card into your POS System (instructional video below) 3. Paper Downtown DollarsHow do I accept Paper Downtown Dollars?
Accepting paper Downtown Dollars at your business is easy and it doesn't cost you a dime!
Here is how to participate 1. Sign up to participate (form below) 2. Train your employees to take a (valid, non-expired) Downtown Dollar Gift Certificate just like they would take cash. They can take the certificate from the customer, and give back any unused portion/change in cash. 3. Count any Downtown Dollars just like cash when you Z out your register at the end of your day 4. Deposit the checks with the rest of your cash when you make your bank deposit. That's it! |
