Bio:
I am the co-founder/owner of 3 retail locations, REVOLVR Menswear and EVRGREEN Clothing, (soon to be 5 stores!) My husband Jon and I moved from Bozeman, MT to Bend in 2015 to open our 2nd location and have been here ever since! We have two little ones and a bernese mountain dog named Moxie, who likes to run off down Wall street and find snacks. With a background in Marketing and entrepreneurship, and having experience in other downtown communities, I want to tap into the huge potential Downtown Bend has to be one of the best downtown's in America.

Describe what you feel that you could contribute to the DBBA board:
I have had a passion for marketing since high school and went on to study Marketing and Small Business Entrepreneurship in college at Montana State University. After spending 10 years in the health club industry in marketing and design, my husband Jon and I opened our first Revolvr location in Bozeman, MT. I believe that with my background in marketing, combined with my experience owning retail stores for the past 8 years in multiple downtown communities, I can bring a fresh approach and ideas that have a proven track record to work for you!

Describe what you feel Downtown Bend's role is in our City/Community:
I feel the DBBA's role is to bring energy, vitality and community to the city of Bend and our visitors while simultaneously providing support, infrastructure and events to the businesses that make up Downtown. It's a BIG job to execute and takes multiple skill sets and a diverse group of people to make it all happen.

Describe 1-2 of the elements of your vision for the future of Downtown Bend:
I believe there is a huge opportunity for more effective events and marketing in Downtown Bend. As a growing city, Bend has multiple spots for people to visit between the Box Factory, Old Mill and Downtown. And there will always be the new cool spot. We need to continue to be fresh and progressive to remain relevant to our locals and visitors. Just to be clear--I'm not talking about more road closures at all--I mean some new elements to our existing events, getting creative during Covid, and adding some new ideas to add to the mix. While parking and homelessness will always be an important issue for us to address, it cannot be our only topic of importance at downtown meetings. I also believe there's room to grow our camaraderie and sense of community amongst downtown business owners/leaders. We are all in this together and we succeed as a downtown, not alone. I would love to be a leader on the DBBA board to facilitate growth, community and push us forward!
