Put your sale merchandise in a position that disrupts normal traffic patterns.

WHY? You want your sale to be short, sharp and effective. By “interrupting” customers and getting the display in their faces, there is a higher chance they’ll notice it and you’ll get the merchandise off your inventory list faster.

HOW? Stick a case where you wouldn’t normally put it. Keep your “Sale” signs tasteful, even go for humorous.
