Remember your customers’ names.
WHY? Don’t you LOVE it when you walk into a business & are greeted by name?!
HOW? On your first interaction, repeat the customer’s name back to them several times during the conversation. As soon as they leave the store, write down their name and a brief description of them (it’s kind of creepy if you try to take a photo during the first encounter). Keep this info in your smart phone or customer profile book and refer to it during slow times. Now you are ready when the customer comes back in and you greet them by their name… that’s effective store marketing, great odds of closing a sale and building a loyal customer for life.
