The Wine Shop and Tasting Bar featured destination for Day of the Dead Party

As a part of the Day of the Dead Cyclocross Festival, Artworks, Altars, and Interpretations of Day of the Dead will be on display throughout downtown Bend including The Wine Shop and Tasting Bar and in the Bend Hardware Building, Wednesday 10/26 through Monday 10/31/2011. We’ll celebrate the event with an art walk on Friday from 6 to 10 pm.

The Wine Shop and Tasting Bar will not only be featuring its main artist Suzan Noyes Mangold (see below), but will also be offering wine, beer and food specials throughout the festival.

See inspired works from Amy Castano, Andrew Steiner, Elise Jones, Gary Bonacker, Laura Walker, Laura Winberry, lloyd mcmullen, Mark Bernahl, Megan McGuiness, Sara Yellich, Suzan Noyes Mangold (at The Wine Shop and Tasting Bar), Sweet Pea Cole, and Tara Doherty.

The Cross Culture Caminata Day of Dead Party

Friday, October 28, 6:00 to 10:00pm

Traditionally, Dia de los Muertos includes parading through the streets with shrines and altars; the Cross Culture Caminata offers a unique interpretation of the parade. Walk from one art installation to another for a festive evening of seeing amazing artworks, meeting the stellar line-up of artists, and seeing downtown Bend.
