Who is this?
We will see about 1,000 guests from 30 ski clubs this year from all over the country coming to ski Bachelor. The clubs will be making regular trips to Downtown Bend to shop and dine. The demographic is 35-65 and affluent.
What are we doing?
The Downtown Bend Business Association, in collaboration with the ski club and Mt. Bachelor is organizing promotions to welcome the club & encourage them to shop & dine during time off from the mountain.
The DBBA will be giving the group maps, a listing of businesses offering specials, tours of downtown and more! We have found this type of promotion to be VERY successful in making groups feel welcome and encourage repeat visits. We want participants to tell their friends how great and welcoming Bend was during their stay!

How can I get involved?
- place a welcome signage in storefront windows (provided by DBBA)
- offer special discounts to participants who “flash their pass”
