NEW VOICE FOR DOWNTOWN BEND SELECTED
Contest yields strong interest & a winner of a $100 Downtown Bend shopping spree
The Downtown Bend Business Association announced today the winner of the Voice of Downtown contest. The community was invited a few weeks ago to go to the Downtown Bend website and listen to three professional voice artists. Participants then voted on their favorite. One local female voter chosen at random won the $100 Downtown Bend shopping spree.
The professional voice talent “Nora” garnered the most votes and will now be the new voice of Downtown Bend. Nora’s voice will be utilized in all Downtown Bend branded TV, radio and audio marketing pieces.
“We are happy that we now have a consistent voice for Downtown Bend.” said Jodell Born, DBBA staff marketing lead. “Having Nora on board to help brand downtown will be very beneficial.”
The project also owes special thanks to the downtown business that has helped get this project rolling. Tim Underwood Productions, a downtown audio production company, has been instrumental in orchestrating the effort. The local production company provides high quality studio production facilities and places voice talent in Central Oregon and nationwide.
