High Desert Chamber Music Season Schedule Announced

High Desert Chamber Music presented by Bank of America announces the 2011-2012 season featuring the Catgut Trio with special guests:

Pianist Robert Thies – September 20, 2011,

The Highland Quartet – January 17, 2012,

The Armadillo String  Quartet – March 6, 2012,

and the Crown City String Quartet – May 15, 2012.

All concerts begin at 7:30pm.

“There will be a new and exciting change this year – in an effort to provide a more intimate venue and true chamber music experience, the HDCM Series will be presented at the Oxford Hotel.  We look forward to being a part of the Oxford Hotel’s outstanding commitment and contribution to the Central Oregon community” states Executive Director Isabelle Senger.

High Desert Chamber Music’s mission is to bring world class chamber music and musicians to Central Oregon.  Now in its fourth season, HDCM has presented a broad range of chamber Groups, ranging from string trios to piano quintets.  In addition to the Series is an Annual Benefit Gala held at the Broken Top Club, which includes a performance, dinner, silent auction and raffle.  This will be held on November 12, 2011, 6:00pm.  Seating requests are taken, and table reservations are recommended.

Tickets for all events are available through HDCM online or by phone.  Seating is limited, so advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.  General Admission is open seating, except for Season Tickets holders, who receive seating in a Reserved section and a 5% discount.  This offer expires on opening night of the 2011-2012 season.
