We thrive on being the hub of the local running community.
Spring hits of functional, colorful clothing are just starting to show up at the back door of the FootZone. Soon you’ll see shorts and all sorts of warm weather gear tempting you and foretelling the change of seasons. We’re especially excited about BornFit, a beautiful new running/walking/yoga active line with a fit for women who aren’t a size 2. Please come in and let us know what you think.
All these mild winter days have been a boon to January running in Central Oregon. We’ve still got some discontinued shoes at great prices but they’re going fast. Coincidentally, lots of exciting shoes are new at the FootZone. From Brooks, the new Cascadia, Trance, Glycerin and Green Silence are all in.
The Cascadia is our best selling trail shoe and version 5 fits better than ever. The platform hasn’t really changed but the upper is new and the spring colors are great, which never hurts. If you’re going to make a great shoe, why not make it look cool? The Green Silence is a close-fitting, lightweight racing shoe with some substance under foot and a wide toe box. The Kayano, 2150 and 2150 Trail are all staples here at the shop and the new models have done nothing to change that. They offer great stability, consistent fit and a balanced ride just like you’d expect.
New from Adidas are the Sequence (stability trainer), the Solution (super plush neutral) and Glide (neutral trainer). They all fit great and seem to suggest a resurgence of Adidas into running specialty. The new Mizuno Musha is the eye-catching racer and the new Inspire and Rider are ready to carry you through some miles.
In track and field shoes we’ve got a huge selection of Brooks, Adidas, Saucony and Nike for all distances and events.
