First Friday Art Walk features Music and Art: Portland’s Tanner Cundy Group, a three piece string band featuring original music that combines pop sensibilities with a rock and roll attitude bundled with an upbeat British flair. They are currently touring regionally in support of their recent release, a five song E.P. entitled “King and Queen.” Tanner, a left-handed, upside-down guitarist puts his own stamp on iconic rock classics in an acoustic format that will make you forget about Marshall Amps and fuzz boxes.
Art on display is by Karen Eland (above) with her espresso paintings and Ed Endsley (below) showing conceptual photography of “Visions Near the Edge of Imagination.” A special showing of his aerial views of the Central Oregon Cascades will be included.
