The Downtown Bend Economic Improvement District is a local assessment district.  The EID assesses all commercial building space at $0.18 per square foot.  Every three years, the property owners vote to continue the EID.  We are pleased to announce that the vote occurred last week and the EID was reauthorized with 100% support.

The EID assessment, helps fund the beautiful flower baskets, the festive Christmas lights, banners, sidewalk cleaning, snow & graffiti removal, advertising, events, and staff (Chuck Arnold, Mike McMahon, and Kelli Brooks) that help keep downtown vibrant.

The 2015 EID will continue an aggressive marketing program to bring more locals downtown! This program has been more far reaching than any previous effort ever.  That effort will continue.  We will keep downtown and downtown businesses top of mind!
