The holiday season continues in Downtown Bend with an invitation to a Family-friendly celebration in Crow’s Feet Commons on Friday, November 30th. Be sure to come down for a night of live music, games, warm drinks and Santa Claus! The party is from 4-8 pm with the Tree Lighting at 5:28 pm. Bob Shaw from NewsChannel 21 and Michaela Beechem from the Downtown Bend Business Association will be emceeing the event from 5 o’clock until the tree is lit.
“The Downtown Bend Business Association loves being able to provide our local Bend families’ a chance to make memories and join in the festivities in Downtown Bend,” said Executive Director, Mindy Aisling.
After the tree lighting, Santa Claus will go to Beach Hut Deli’s patio, next to the fire pit, for children to have a chance to speak with him and get their picture taken with him. Santa Claus will be in this spot every Saturday in December from 12-4 pm.
The event also benefits local charities; Family Access Network and NeighborImpact. People can also donate a Christmas present or ornament that will go on or beneath the tree. All proceeds from those donations will go to Bend Cares.
