Downtown Beautification

It’s been over 5 months since the beautiful flower baskets were installed downtown. Fall kisses the flowers good night for the year. We owe a great deal of thanks to Downtown Bend businesses and property owners who fund the flower basket program. Over 100 baskets were installed and cared for this year by our contractor (and downtown business!) Botanical Developments. This program is maintained with ZERO public funding.

We also would like to thank Sagebrush and Wanderlust Tours who co-sponsored our flower basket program this year. Businesses can sponsor a basket for a year with a small donation to the Downtown Bend Business Association. Contact the office at: (541) 788-3628 to find out more.

Now what?

Watch for special surprise “winter art” installation in January, but in the meantime it’s time to decorate downtown for the holidays.

Volunteers are needed on Sunday, November 13th @ 10am to help hang Christmas lights and wreaths throughout downtown. Again, this is a community effort with dozens of volunteers contributing. No public funding is involved. Give us a call to get involved!
