Larie Borden-Clutch
I was born and raised in Bend. I never intended to spend the rest of my life here (surely there had to be cooler towns out there!) until I left Oregon for college and realized that Bend was indeed a special place. I returned after graduation and after working is accounting for 7 years, had the opportunity to follow in my parents' and grandparents' footsteps by opening my own small business in Bend, In the summer of 2007, my husband and I opened Clutch: A Handbag Boutique on Minnesota Ave. I'm absolutely committed to keeping Downtown vibrant, welcoming to customers and retailers, and my favorite place to be in Bend. I'll do that whether or not I'm elected to the Downtown Board but I welcome the opportunity to be more effective as an integral part of the downtown organization.

Karen LeToureau-Bend Bungalow
I opened Bend Bungalow in 2001 and have moved it twice, finally to Wall St. Now that the business is firmly established, I would like to give back by serving on our Downtown Bend Business Association Board of Directors. I am fortunate to occupy our oldest building downtown and am working closely with my new landlord (Deschutes County Historical Museum) to represent the building and its unique history. As a Board member, I would be eager to bring my ten years of experience and a positive, forward thinking, dynamic attitude to the table. I am very keyed into the needs and frustrations of downtown shoppers and would bring that valuable feedback to the Board. I believe in listening to and respecting various opinions and ideas and trying to come to the best decision for downtown as a whole, whether or not it happens to correspond with my personal opinion or needs. Should you elect me, I would do my best to help keep downtown vibrant and moving forward in the most positive manner possible, just as I have done at my business by serving my customers and working with my long-term staff.

Ben Perle-Oxford Hotel (incumbent)-
Having lived in the heart of Bend for more than a decade, I fully appreciate the importance of keeping our downtown vibrant and active. As a former downtown business owner and now, once again, a business manager, I pledge to support continued marketing and events that center around this historically significant and charming area, ensuring its sustained success.

Noel Ericksen-1001 NW Wall Street
With a family history spanning 75 years of retail and property management in downtown Bend, I know the challenges as well as the opportunities Bend businesses and property owners’ face. With a strong and involved board of directors, downtown issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently. I believe that it is vital for the DBBA board to be fiscally responsible to the tax payers while maintaining a healthy, active and beautiful city core. I would be proud to serve in this capacity.
